Major international airports will attend TFWA Asia Pacific & Gate ONE2ONE
Meeting up at TFWA Asia Pacific & Gate ONE2ONE
Tuesday, April 20, 2010

TFWA is delighted to report that a record number of major international airports have confirmed that they will attend TFWA Asia Pacific & Gate ONE2ONE (9th-13th May) and will also participate in the ONE2ONE pre-arranged meetings service. The ONE2ONE service, now in its third year, puts retailers, exhibitors and airport service concessionaires in direct contact with representatives from some of the biggest and fastest-growing airports in the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

Over 30 airports - twice as many as last year - will be sending their senior executives to the event to discuss retail development opportunities with suppliers of top quality products and services from all over the world.

Meetings are conducted in the privacy and convenience of a dedicated suite of meeting rooms within the exhibition hall in Singapore Suntec or on the exhibitor’s own stand.

Already eight airports from the rapidly developing market of China have confirmed their participation in ONE2ONE this year including Beijing Capital International Airport, the second busiest airport in the world, Guangzhou Bayun, Sichuan Province Airport Group and Western Airport Group. English/Mandarin translators will be on hand if required.

Bangalore, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai international airports will send their commercial representatives to meet suppliers exploring development opportunities in India, a market which has huge potential for the duty free and travel retail industry.

Airports elsewhere in Asia are also well represented with executives from Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Nagoya and the Japan Airport Terminal in Tokyo making the journey from Japan. Korea Airports Corporation and Incheon International Airport Corporation will send delegations and Malaysia Airports Group and Senai Airport Terminal Services from Malaysia will also be present.

Singapore Changi Airport Group will participate in ONE2ONE meetings and will also exhibit their airport services on their own stand at the show.

There are senior executives on the delegate list from Vancouver International Airport Authority, an important hub in North America for travellers to and from Asia, and from the key international airports in Australia – Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney.

From the Middle East region will come executives from the Abu Dhabi Airports Company.

Participation in the ONE2ONE pre-arranged meetings scheme is open to delegates who registered their attendance at the TFWA Asia Pacific & Gate ONE2ONE exhibition and conference event before 2nd April.

During the show, meetings can be arranged on-site at the ONE2ONE information desk.
