The lack of charge can make a significant difference to those planning a charity bike ride or those simply wanting extra spending money in some of Israel’s sensational vineyards, restaurants and markets.

Bicycles travel free of charge
There is no better way to see Israel than on a bike. In a land inhabited since the dawn of civilization, the historical and political points of interest are numerous.  EL AL passengers travelling with a bicycle get 20 extra kilos above the baggage allowance at no extra cost.  Cyclists simply have to inform travel agents when making the flight reservation and the cycle needs to be encased.

Specialist cycling holidays
