Rome, Venice and Pisa are proving to be amongst the most popular holiday destinations from Manchester this summer, according to booking figures from Jet2.com, with holidaymakers flocking to take advantage of Italy’s culture, climate and cuisine.

Combined booking figures currently place Italy amongst the most popular destinations for a short break from the North West this year, with the airline’s brand new Venice route proving to be one of the most successful additions to its schedule for 2010.

Jet2.com is the only low fare airline to fly to the historic city of Rome from Manchester Airport, offering a daily service throughout the summer. The airline also operates a four times a week service to Venice and flights to Pisa three times a week.

Famed for its great food, historic architecture, history, fashion, culture and climate, Italy offers something for all holidaymakers – from those looking for a short weekend break or a longer stay.
