They’re back - the winning team of the European Travel Commission, Air France, and The Leading Hotels of the World, with a new “You and Europe” marketing campaign. Starting May 3rd 2010, the trio will unroll a new online campaign extolling Europe’s irresistible appeal and excellent value.
With Air France as the official airline of the European Travel Commission for the second straight year, the campaign will position Europe as an enriching experience that doesn’t cost the world. Air France together with its partners KLM and Delta offer the most powerful network of flights to Europe, with low fares to more than 150 cities. Running in Spring, Summer and Fall in consumer online media, the campaign will emphasize Europe’s great value with taglines such as “For Value Lovers Only” and “A Fare to Remember.”
Along with low fares, the ads will highlight The Leading Hotels of the World and its Great European Sale, offering 30% off rates on its collection of exquisite European hotels, inclusive of daily breakfast and VAT (Value Added Tax), making it one of the most exceptional offers available at the luxury level. The partners are also offering a photo contest with a chance to win a European trip for two and a Leica camera from Willoughby’s, established in 1898 and New York City’s oldest photographic emporium. Details of the contest will be available at visiteurope.com/youandeurope beginning May 3.
“We are very pleased to re-launch this campaign with our esteemed partners Air France and The Leading Hotels of the World,” said Jean-Philippe Perol, ETC chairman. “With the U.S. economy on the mend, U.S. travelers are packing their bags again for Europe. The dollar is stronger, too, and we’re emphasizing the great value in store for travelers who choose Europe.”
Christine Ourmieres, U.S. Vice President and General Manager of Air France and KLM, said “Air France is excited by this opportunity to share in the joy of discovering Europe, and experiencing the pleasure of getting there with the unique style and flair of the French touch. We look forward to greeting everyone with a complimentary glass of Champagne on-board.”
