Meditour - All About Asia co-operation
“Appointment in Paradise” DVD
Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Medical Tourism specialists, Meditour, along with partner travel wholesaler, All About Asia, have recently produced a DVD showcasing the Philippines as the perfect destination for low cost, high quality, dental treatments.

Meditour has been working closely with the Philippine Department of Tourism to produce the DVD that features interviews with the top dentists and some of their Australian patients. This will primarily be promoted to the public through travel agencies throughout Australia. The travel agent will book the travel side and Meditour will arrange the appointments.

All About Asia has successfully been selling these “Dental Holidays” through selected travel agencies in Queensland for over 5 years and will now expand to the other states.

All About Asia, Managing Director, Robert Graham, has been involved in Philippines tourism for over 30 years starting with the management of tourism hotels and resorts during the 1980s and opening in Brisbane in 1991 as a specialist wholesaler.

“Medical tourism to the Philippines is growing at a very fast rate,” said Mr Graham. “Not only are the dentists trained to USA standards but English is their second language. Plus of course the flying time to Manila from Brisbane is only seven hours. Patients need to be assured that they are dealing with genuine companies before they even consider travelling overseas for medical treatments. The DVD will give them that confidence.”
