Average load factor was 2.1 points lower than 2009
Vueling carried 908,854 passengers in April, an increase of 86.4%
Thursday, May 13, 2010
Average load factor was 2.1 points lower than 2009 owing to the earlier Easter break. Combined, traffic in March and April increased by 1.7 points year on year.

Vueling, Spain’s new-generation airline, carried 908,854 passengers in April, up 86.4% year on year. The increase in volume reflects the merger with clickair during July 2009. The lower level of occupancy in April from the previous year (-2.1 percentage points) was due to an earlier Easter break this year. However, without taking the Easter dates into account and adding March and April data, Vueling occupancy levels improved by 1.7 percentage points, from 72.4% in 2009 to 74.1% in 2010.
