easyJet launch new route from Liverpool John Lennon airport
Wednesday, August 18, 2010

easyJet today launched its annual in-flight collections for its Charity Partner, Alzheimer’s Society, the leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them.

Throughout the summer months, easyJet cabin crew from across the whole of its European network will ask passengers to donate any loose change and unused foreign currency. Last year easyJet raised over £442,000 for the charity.

Dementia affects millions of families every year. Alzheimer's Society supports people to live well with dementia today and funds research to find a cure for tomorrow. Alzheimer’s Society, which is a member of Alzheimer’s Europe, provides care, advice and practical support to thousands of people each week and relies on voluntary donations to continue its vital work.
