TS² 2011 Review Committee makes recommendations
Exhibit and event industry helps NTP shape future of TS²
Tuesday, August 24, 2010

The TS² 2011 Review committee, comprised of exhibit and event industry leaders, announced today the results of its “Help Us Build Your TS² 2011” campaign, launched during TS² 2010 in Boston last month. This campaign (conducted by Exhibit Surveys, Inc.) surveyed TS² attendees and prospective attendees as well as TS² exhibitors and prospective exhibitors on everything from their direct experiences with TS² to the role of exhibit and event education in their daily lives to help shape the future of TS².

“The response to the survey effort was overwhelming,” said Christopher Harar, TS² Show Director. “We received great feedback. We are pleased to find out that we’re doing many things right, but also encouraged by suggested enhancements to ensure all stakeholders are getting the most out of TS².”

The 2011 Review Committee, spearheaded by Bob Dallmeyer, and comprised of TS² exhibitors, non-exhibiting suppliers, TS² attendees, non-attending exhibitors and notable industry leaders met Friday, August 20 via conference call with the strategic objectives of identifying and defining:
- The ideal TS² attendee
- Top motivating factors attracting these attendees to TS²
- Type of education most important to these attendees
- Factors most critical to exhibitors in order to establish ROI at TS²
- Unique Selling Proposition of TS²

“Using the survey data as our launching point, we had a very spirited discussion on these key factors and themes,” said Bob Dallmeyer. “Several objectives for TS² 2011 were identified and solutions to address these objectives clarified.”

Of extreme importance to the committee’s discussion and the plans for 2011, is the confirmation of a previously assumed belief that TS² attendees tend to have a high level of industry experience. The survey revealed the audience is extremely sophisticated, with an average of 9.5 years of experience in the industry and a net buying influence of 97%.

Additional results of the “Help Us Build Your TS² 2011” campaign, as well as the 2011 initiatives set forth by the Review Committee will be released the first week of September along with the announcement of TS² 2011 dates and location.
