Orbitz Worldwide announced that Alaska Airlines has selected the Orbitz Worldwide Distribution private label solution to power hotel and car rental search and booking capabilities on its website, alaskaair.com. The new offering is built on iSeatz's highly-flexible OneView In-Path Plus platform that allows Alaska Airlines to seamlessly offer other travel products within its primary flight booking path and checkout process, whether booked standalone or as part of a package.

"We chose the Orbitz Worldwide private label solution because it delivers extensive supplier content on a highly-customized platform, allowing our customers to find and book hotels and car rentals on alaskaair.com at the guaranteed lowest price," said Karen Wells, Alaska Airlines' director of website operations. "This technology will help us offer our customers a full spectrum of travel products in one seamless web transaction."

"We're excited at the opportunity to work with a renowned customer service leader like Alaska Airlines to give their travelers new in-path capabilities with the Orbitz Worldwide private label solution," said Ronnie Gurion, president, Orbitz Worldwide Distribution. "The Orbitz Worldwide and iSeatz in-path technology allows our partners to significantly increase hotel and car attachment rates by allowing customers to shop for and add ancillary travel products in a single booking and checkout environment."

Orbitz Worldwide Distribution offers a range of private label solutions for partners of all sizes, including hosted HTML services that can be launched in a matter of days with no upfront costs, XML solutions that allow full control of the user interface, and end-to-end custom developed XML and HTML solutions that are fully tailored to meet the unique requirements of more complex partners.
