Virgin Atlantic and Virgin America announce one-way interline agreement
Tuesday, September 21, 2010
Virgin Atlantic announced a one-way interline agreement with Virgin America, effective from 15 September 2010. The agreement enables Virgin Atlantic’s customers to connect with Virgin America flights at seven US gateways, extending their journeys to great Virgin America destinations such as San Diego and Seattle.

Edmond Rose, Virgin Atlantic’s Director Commercial & Revenue Planning, said: “We are delighted to announce this new interline agreement. It will offer thousands of our passengers even more choice of journeys between the UK and the US on Virgin flights. Our passengers will now have greater flexibility for their travels and get fantastic value and Virgin standards of service throughout their journey.”

The new agreement means that customers will be able to have their bags checked through to their final destination and can book through journeys on one ticket either through Virgin Atlantic’s UK Contact Centre on 08448 747 747 or via a travel agent.
