Garuda Indonesia and OAG to continue partnership
Thursday, October 07, 2010
OAG and Garuda Indonesia, at a signing ceremony held in Jakarta yesterday, signed a multi-year agreement that will continue the long-term relationship between the two companies. OAG, the industry's most accurate single source of airline information, will provide its consolidated global airline schedule, minimum connect time (MCT) data and ancillary data to the airline. Garuda Indonesia is one of Asia's leading airlines.

The two groups have also signed an enhanced agreement to utilize OAG's marketing services to promote the airline's brand on a global basis. Garuda Indonesia is the first and largest carrier in Indonesia and currently serves 31 domestic and 20 international destinations.

"Our mission is to be a leading airline of choice for travellers from Asia and abroad, and having access to the trusted and flexible data services that OAG provides is critical for our airline to run efficiently. We are delighted to have concluded this new long term agreement and look forward to working closely with the OAG team over the coming months to ensure we achieve our goals in this area," said Agus Priyanto, EVP, Commercial Garuda Indonesia.

"OAG is proud of the many years of service and information we have supplied to Garuda Indonesia, and believe that we have provided value to the airline and have helped them continue on their path of growth," said Mario Hardy, Vice President - Asia Pacific for UBM Aviation. "We are honoured that they continue to place their trust in OAG and our products, and look forward to working more closely with them to grow their business, and expand their international reach."

Hardy continued, "Our investment in leading-edge technologies and the unequalled knowledge and expertise of our people put us at the vanguard of database management. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of excellence to retain our leadership position in aviation data and services."
