ExecuJet Middle East, a leading global business aviation organisation, has announced apartnership with Al Faisal Holding, one of the leading diversified companies in Qatar, to form a new business aviation company in Doha to be named ExecuJet Qatar.

The new company has been established to secure an Air Operating Certificate (AOC) and provide aircraft management and charter solutions to clients in Qatar. The application process for the AOC is already underway and is expected to be in place early in 2011.

ExecuJet Qatar, will be operated by ExecuJet Middle East and is expected to create a number of new jobs in support of the AOC application process. Going forward staff numbers are expected to grow proportionately to the number of aircraft under the management of the company. The new capability is still in the development stages but is expected to be established at Doha International Airport.

Managing Director, ExecuJet Middle East, Mike Berry commented “ExecuJet’s current business in the region has been growing steadily for many years, what we have seen is further potential with the region and have always expressed our plans to expand our geographic footprint further within the Middle East, the opportunity for this partnership has come at the ideal time and we look forward to our future in Qatar.”

Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani commented “ExecuJet has already established a leading global aviation business and I am delighted to be announcing this new partnership with them today. Top quality aviation services are in high demand in Qatar and the GCC and I am pleased that we will be able to play a key role in the development of the industry in the future”.

ExecuJet Middle East has been operating in Dubai for over 11 years providing charter, aircraft management, maintenance, aircraft sales and FBO (fixed base operation) services. With land at Dubai World Central already secured and the recent edition of a new hangar at the ExecuJet Dubai facility, the new entity in Qatar is the perfect complement to the company network.
