Four Points by Sheraton, the fast-growing hotel brand from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced the opening of a third hotel in Houston with a 79-room property just steps from Hobby. Four Points "simple pleasures" philosophy has made the brand a massive hit with travelers everywhere by giving guests everything they need, plus the extras they love - all with superior service and modern style.

Boasting an unbeatable location at 8720 Gulf Freeway - near downtown, with easy access to Interstate 45 - the brand-new Four Points Houston Hobby Airport situates guests near major corporate headquarters, attractions, and arenas.

Business travelers will find offices including IBM, Rowan, Wilson Air, Sara Lee, and Dow Chemical nearby. And guests at Four Points Houston Hobby Airport will find themselves close to key area attractions including Houston's Museum District, Kemah Boardwalks, Theater District, and the historic San Jacinto Battlegrounds.

"Travelers in Houston consistently tell us how much they appreciate the comfort and value of Four Points, and we think they'll enjoy the convenience and ease of the Hobby Airport location," said Brian
McGuinness,
Senior Vice President of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood. "Houston's a key corporate and cultural hub, and Four Points Houston Hobby Airport will give business and leisure travelers alike an advantage."

Rohit Dand, president of Cimarron Hospitality, the property's developer and partner, agreed. "We're eager to share the Four Points experience with travelers who make the smart decision to make Hobby a home base," he said. "With exceptional value and the appeal of 'simple pleasures', Four Points is the right brand at the right time. We're excited to bring the third Four Points property to a key area of Houston."

The hotel's new 747 Restaurant will offer delicious, Texas-tinged American cooking in a relaxing dining room. For corporate guests, Four Points Houston Hobby Airport features a flexible, 1,420-square-foot meeting space, the Hobby Aviation Room, with a 42" wireless-remote flat-screen monitor. The room can also get divided into two 720-square-foot spaces, "Terminal A" and "Terminal B."

Four Points opened its 150th hotel in 2010, solidifying its place as the third-largest brand with the second-biggest global pipeline in Starwood. Four Points is always an honest value, with great amenities like free bottled water in every room every day, free wi-fi in public spaces, and free internet access in all guestrooms.

Four Points' momentum will continue into 2011 as it brings its winning combination of comfort, style, and value to business and travel hubs around the world. With the 2011 openings, Four Points will command a presence in 28 countries, up from 24 last year.
