This important new contract win will be managed by Novar Projects and includes the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the systems followed by lifetime service and maintenance. We have been investing in Novar Projects, enhancing its design, engineering and project management skills. These investments are allowing Novar to present an enhanced and more integrated range of solutions to our customers from the broad range of capabilities available from our Intelligent Building Systems. These investments, together with our long and successful provision of life safety systems to airports around the world, have been instrumental in achieving this important new business win.

Novar Projects are currently responding to BAA plc requests for the potential supply of further products and services from Novar`s extensive Intelligent Building Systems offerings.

Group Chief Executive, Jurgen Hintz commented: "The confidence showed by BAA plc in the award of this contract to our Novar Projects team is testimony to the investments we have made over the last few years to build up our technology offering and our customer service organisation. We are very confident that the solutions we are offering here will be of great interest to our other airport customers around the world."
