Four CEM programs will be held concurrently on Tuesday, 21 June 2011:
"I am pleased that IAEE is able to bring CEM programming to AIBTM," said 2011 IAEE Chairman Vinnie Polito. "The CEM program is well-known for its interactive and practical education-based content for which AIBTM is perfectly suited to those who attend will have a positive experience with long-term value for their professional careers."
The CEM designation, created in 1975, is recognized globally throughout the exhibitions and events industry as the premier mark of professional achievement. Participation in the CEM Learning Program offers an opportunity to secure the most relevant and practical education available in exhibition and event management in a highly interactive environment, working through real life exercises. Programming is conducted globally through IAEE's network of licensees. In the United States, participants must complete a nine-part program within three years to earn the CEM designation.
"Earning the IAEE CEM designation validated and improved my knowledge base to better serve clients, afforded me greater career opportunities and further impassioned me to a profession that I already love. The CEM is invaluable education for any trade show professional - novice or advanced," says Donna Jarvis-Miller, CMP, CEM.
"We are delighted that IAEE has chosen AIBTM to hold their CEM courses," says Steve Knight, AIBTM Project Director. "One of the core elements of AIBTM is our top-notch professional Education Program. We are working with a number of major industry associations to deliver thought-provoking and stimulating content and the IAEE's decision to hold their exam at our event further illustrates the importance of yet another industry organization recognizing the crucial role that AIBTM plays in the meetings and events community. As part of the CEM program, AIBTM is offering CEM delegates an exclusive opportunity to participate in our Hosted Buyer Program. These delegates will receive one night's accommodation as our guest and will have the opportunity to schedule one-to-one appointments with exhibitors on the opening day of the show, 22 June."
