The number of the Russian tourists who stayed in Hungarian hotels increased by more than 20%. Such information was received from the Hungarian National Tourist Office.

According to their data, 7 727 600 tourists visited the country in 2010 (+6.1% in comparison with 2009) having spent on the average 2.8 days. As for the Russians, 95 900 people visited Hungary in 2010 (+20.5% in comparison with 2009).

As the statistics shows, the Russians liked to visit Hungarian Spa and Wellness hotels. The number of the nights of the Russians in balneotherapeutic resorts amounted to 115 000 (+8.9%) with the highest growth of 24.6% among all the countries.
