Moscow prepared a new tourism program

Moscow prepared a new tourism program and according to that, by 2016 the capital city will receive yearly about 86.4 billion rubles from the services and accommodation. The new project was prepared under the direction of Lyudmila Shvetsova, the Vice-Mayor of Moscow.

It’s planning that about 30 million people will visit yearly the parks of Moscow in 2016.The government plans to reconstruct and beautify all the city parks, including All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVC), Sokolniki Park and Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure. A system of bicycle lanes, ski runs, open-air cages, springs, ecological walks, slopes for tubing and sleighs, golf fields, picnic stations and several new beaches will be constructed. The number of the employees in the nature reserves and the mansions will be increased up to 90%.

The reconstruction will be realized at the expense of the private investors. The government will create the necessary infrastructure. According to the estimates of the Government the number of the tourists in Moscow will amount to 7.3 million people yearly, the half of them will arrive from CIS countries.
