CEB slashes fares in 50% seat sale to all domestic and international destinations
Thursday, June 02, 2011
The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific slashes its fares with a 50% off seat sale to all international and domestic destinations from May 31 to June 3, 2011. This is for travel from August 1 to October 31, 2011.

Low-fare pioneer CEB offers 50% off seat sale fares from Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai to Manila, from Macau to Manila and Clark, and from Hong Kong to Manila, Clark and Cebu.

Its 11 other international destinations on sale are: Bangkok, Brunei, Busan, Ho Chi Minh, Incheon, Jakarta, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, Singapore and Taipei.

From Manila, Clark and Cebu, passengers can also book CEB’s 50% off seat sale fares to top Philippine tourist destinations like Boracay, Laoag, Puerto Princesa, Coron, Siargao, Surigao, Dumaguete, Cagayan de Oro and Davao.

“CEB has the most extensive route network in the Philippines, playing a big part in the country’s tourism objectives. With seat sales such as this, passengers from mainland China, Macau and Hong Kong can book low fares to more than one destination in the Philippines,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

“Passengers can also utilize CEB’s network in Asia to get from North Asia to Southeast Asia and vice versa, via the Philippines,” she added. “We are putting more than 500,000 seats on sale until June 3, 2011. We hope this extended five-day seat sale period will give more people the opportunity to book CEB’s trademark low fares.”

CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 15 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft – with an average age of less than 3.5 years – one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2014, Cebu Pacific will take an additional 16 Airbus A320 aircraft.
