Members Hotel Network introduces new online travel savings club

Members Hotel Network (MHN), announced its entrance into the online travel industry with the launch of its website, MHNSAVES.com. MHNSAVES.com is a new online travel savings club that offers its members exclusive discounts and cash back rewards on hotel stays across the United States. MHNSAVES.com serves as a more affordable alternative to larger online travel agencies (OTAs) for both consumers and hoteliers.
Membership to MHNSAVES.com is free for a limited time, and members receive access to a selection of more than 35,000 hotels nationwide and are able to search, compare and reserve hotel rooms in one convenient online website. MHNSAVES.com members enjoy exclusive benefits and opportunities to save money, including:
- Savings of 5-30 percent off participating hotels’ lowest available advertised rate
- The ability to combine MHNSAVES.com discounts with other national discount programs, including AAA or AARP memberships and government or military discounts, at participating hotels
- MHN cash back reward points earned on every night’s stay at any hotel booked through MHNSAVES.com which may be redeemed at any time and used without limits or restrictions
- The ability to still earn rewards (miles, points, etc.) on other hotel and/or credit card loyalty programs on every stay booked through MHNSAVES.com.
To celebrate the site launch, MHNSAVES.com will be giving away free lifetime memberships to anyone who registers by July 31, 2011, and one of those lucky members will win $500 in MHN cash back reward points. Once registered, members will have an opportunity to receive additional entries in the drawing for the $500 prize through Facebook and Twitter.
MHNSAVES.com was founded by a team of hoteliers who were familiar with the high commission rates that OTAs typically charge hotels for their booking services, in addition to the various fees they charge consumers for booking through their sites. To create a more affordable and rewarding service, the MHN team designed a business model that charges the hotels a significantly lower commission rate than its competitors and then passes those savings directly to its members in the form of lower hotel rates and cash back rewards.
