Gray Dawes clients now have access to a complete end to end solution for booking business trips and claiming associated expenses through gdbookonline, Gray Dawes’ online travel management and booking system. This service is provided through a partnership with KDS, an international provider of integrated travel and expense solutions, and The Trainline, a leading provider of rail content for the UK.

When booking travel through gdbookonline, which is powered by KDS, users are shown results across all UK and International travel options including traditional airlines, low-cost operators, hotels, car hire and now UK rail. The uniquely integrated and blended view of search results allows users to quickly and easily identify the most cost effective and convenient options for their trip, reducing cost for the company and stress for the traveller.

Furthermore, expense management is fully integrated with the travel booking system, and is now available on mobile platforms - iPhone, Android and Blackberry - enabling travellers to fill in their expenses wherever and whenever they choose, and giving supervisors the power to approve or reject expense claims on the go.

With this unique online solution, Gray Dawes is the first UK TMC to offer unified KDS travel and expense management to its clients, and  provide complete end-to-end support for travellers during all stages of their business trip.

Solidifying this strategy, Gray Dawes have chosen to join the KDS partner programme. This programme brings a unified approach to selling and implementing full end to end solutions for the Corporate Traveller.

Suzanne Cockburn, CEO of Gray Dawes, commented: “We are delighted that this positions Gray Dawes at the forefront of online development providing a seamless integrated booking and expense management solution for our clients.”

Gray Dawes Chairman Lord Inchcape added: “This truly demonstrates Gray Dawes’ focus on balancing technology with traditional values for the benefit of our client portfolio.”

“KDS are proud to welcome Gray Dawes as the latest member of our growing partner programme,” stated Oliver Quayle, KDS’ VP of Product Marketing. “Together we provide a comprehensive end-to-end travel and expense solution which adds real value for our clients, and which we believe to be ahead of anything else in the market today.”
