Cheapflights Media Ltd. announces the appointment from Wednesday 27th July of Alan Martin as Interim Chief Financial Officer following the unexpected and untimely death last month of its long–serving Chief Financial OfficerSimon Bicket.

Alan qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1994.  Since then Alan has held a range of senior finance and operational roles, primarily in the media, video games and online sectors. He has worked for a variety of relevant international organisations including LEGO Media, Ubisoft, Walt Disney Internet Group and ITV.  Prior to joining Cheapflights he was Interim Finance Director for the Global Brands division of BBC Worldwide working with brands like Lonely Planet and Top Gear.  Alan has a degree from Southampton University and is married with two children.

We now bid Alan welcome aboard and believe that the legacy of the financial disciplines and controls Simon created, along with the excellent team he led, will ensure a smooth introduction for Alan into his new role.”
