UK travellers encouraged to tweet and post about Tunisian holiday experience
Tunisia launches first Social Media campaign to engage tourists
Thursday, August 25, 2011

This week sees the launch of the first ever social media campaign by the Tunisian National Tourist Office (TNTO). The official Facebook and Twitter pages will showcase Tunisia's white sandy beaches, excellent golf courses and thalassotherapy centres to inspire new and returning UK holidaymakers to the country.

Visitors can upload videos, post images, tweet travel tips, and connect with fellow travellers before, during and after their holiday to Tunisia.

"We are thrilled to launch our first social media campaign and hope it will encourage UK holidaymakers to continue to return to Tunisia and share their experiences with us" says Anissa Ramoundi, UK & Ireland Director for the Tunisian National Tourist Office.

"By investing in our online presence, we will be able to reach out to British travellers in a very modern and open way; an approach that would not have been possible before the Jasmine Revolution."

"We hope that our Facebook and Twitter pages will be both a useful and an enjoyable way to discover more about our wonderful country and remind visitors that Tunisia is a safe and a welcoming holiday destination."

Simply 'like' the Come to Tunisia Facebook page or 'follow us' on Twitter @ComeToTunisia to share your Tunisian story, find inspiring holiday ideas, tempting travel deals, stunning images and much more.
