Fodele Beach hotel wins gold

Leading UK tour operator Thomson recently conferred a Gold Medal Award upon the Fodele Beach  hotel  in Crete for the 1999 tourist season. The judging criteria are particularly strict and include clients' responses to a questionnaire. A high quality of services with an emphasis on the customer is mandatory. The hotel's manager, George Kritsotakis, accepted the honour on behalf of the unit during a ceremony in Athens. Fodele Beach possesses ISO  9001 quality assurance certification for the management system it introduced in 1998.
