Brussels for All: an accessible website
A diagnose of accessibility of Brussels for the persons with reduced mobility
Monday, September 19, 2011
"Tourism for everyone" this is what 'AMT CONCEPT' is aiming for with their website "Brussels for All". This site offers a diagnose of accessiblity for the persons with reduced mobility.

In 2011, we present a brand new website. Surfing will be easier and we could realize our ambition to become the best tourist guide for the traveller with reduced mobility. New structure, updated and additional information and a graphically modern website.

"We would like this website "Brussels for All" to become an effective instrument for travel agencies, the sector of accomodation, transport as well as the service providers", says Miguel Gerez, Director of the association 'AMT Concept'.

The webiste consists mainly of information files about accomodation, restaurants, museums, shopping- and sportcenters... Every file provides practical and detailled information such as a description, address, telephone number, map, pictures... as well as specific information and observations gathered by the team of "ATM Concept" on their visit.

The last three months the site "Brussels for All" had 12.500 visitors. "AMT Concept' wishes to establish a new network for exchange of informations and links between ALL actors of the sector.

"VisitBrussels is delighted about the development of the website "Brussels for All" On the official website VisitBrussels.be we had since a year a little website dedicated to accessible places for everyone. Thanks to the cooperation with "Brussels for All" and with this new agreement, this profile will be even more accurate and we will be able to see the accessibility of every tourist place in our database" says Patrick Bontinck, Director of VisitBrussels.
