EL AL moves to a new zone at Terminal 1, London Heathrow

EL AL is delighted to announce that from 16 September 2011 will be moving to a new zone at Terminal 1, London Heathrow. The airline is thrilled with its upgraded location, which will enhance passenger experience, offering those flying with EL AL a more modern and bright terminal location and substantially reducing the distance passengers have to walk from EL AL check-in to BAA security.
To celebrate, Israel’s national airline will be offering delicious bites of osher food at check-in for passengers travelling from 17th September – 19th September.
EL AL’s Managing Director of Northern Europe, Yarom Vadish comments, “We are delighted to be able to offer our passengers a shorter walk and a more exclusive terminal location when travelling with us from Heathrow. The EL AL team and I can’t wait to settle into our new home and hope that the passengers travelling on 17th September will enjoy our themed bites.”
The first flight to take off from Heathrow, Terminal 1, Zone was the LY318 on 17 September 2011.
