Tiger Airways Australia announces extra flights from Melbourne to Gold Coast and Brisbane
Thursday, September 22, 2011
Tiger Airways Australia is announcing extra daily return services on two popular routes (Melbourne - Brisbane and Melbourne – Gold Coast) as the airline continues to resume domestic services in Australia gradually.

The additional daily flights on both popular routes are on sale now for travel from late September 2011 through to March 2012 and mean that the airline will soon be flying two daily return services between Melbourne and Gold Coast (extra daily services commence from 23 September 2011) and three daily return services between Melbourne and Brisbane (extra daily services commence from 22 September 2011).

Currently the airline is flying one daily return service between Melbourne and Gold Coast and two daily return services between Melbourne and Brisbane.

The new services boosting travel options between Melbourne and Queensland are in addition to a daily return flight between Melbourne and Perth and up to five daily return services between Melbourne and Sydney.

Tiger Airways Head of Marketing and Communications, Vanessa Regan, says “the airline is implementing its flight programme as planned, focusing on flying the popular core routes which deliver operational excellence, enabling the airline to provide safe, affordable and reliable air travel.

“We are keen to reinstate flights to a number of other popular destinations around Australia, which we will announce in due course,” she says. “The key to securing the best deals with Tiger Airways is to plan ahead, book early and snap up the lowest fares before someone else does,” adds Ms Regan.
