Monday, September 26, 2011
The Qatar Tourism Authority has launched a mobile version of its website, giving residents and visitors immediate access to tourist information about the country.

The website, which can be accessed through a mobile browser at m.qatartourism.gov.qa , has information about Qatar, upcoming events and attractions.

The site is designed specifically for smartphones so travel information is always available no matter where you are during your travels.

Like the main site, the mobile site also has information about tourism operators as well as the latest news from the QTA in a simple, easy to read format.

A Qatar Tourism Authority  spokesperson said the mobile site was now live and can be accessed anywhere in the world. “This new site gives visitors to Qatar as well as those living here, access to all the latest information about the country literally at their fingertips,” they said. “The site is easily navigated from a smartphone, iPhone or Blackberry.

“It also gives you the tools you need to plan your trip or adventure within Qatar as well as information about the country. Technology changes every day and we need to adapt and provide information in a format that people find easy to use as well as relevant.”
