Monday, September 26, 2011
Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) has announced that it has signed a long term hotel supply partnership with Ireland's national airline, Aer Lingus.

From today, those booking flights at aerlingus.com will have exclusive booking access to almost 140,000 hotels across the globe as well as the ability to create their own holiday packages when combined with Aer Lingus flights. The partnership also includes the ability to book excursions, event tickets and activities though EAN's extensive in-destination offering.

Sean McDonald, VP, EAN, comments, "We are very excited to be working with Aer Lingus on this partnership offering their customers access to the best quality and most extensive range of hotels, package options and in-destination activities in the market. We have worked closely with Aer Lingus to develop a hotel supply solution that meets the needs of their customers, making it quick and easy for them to book all their travel requirements in one place. EAN's ability to offer hotels through a powerful and flexible set of technologies that facilitates an easy integration has been key to securing this partnership."

Aer Lingus, Director Network Distribution, Ronan Fitzpatrick said, "We are delighted to have EAN onboard and to be able to offer such a wide choice of hotels to our customers."

The hotel supply partnership with Aer Lingus sees EAN continue to expand its footprint in the airline sector.

McDonald concludes, "EAN has a proven history of helping airlines generate increased ancillary revenue though white label relationships and the partnership with Aer Lingus goes even further in solidifying this."
