Canvas Hotels and Resorts introduced the brand to the Kazakhstan market at the Astana Leisure 2011 last week. The Tourism Exhibition, which ran from 27th until 29th September at Korme Exhibition Centre in Astana, Kazakhstan, is one of leading tourism exhibitions in the CIS.

Canvas Hotels and Resorts, a brand under the Fabulous Hotel Management Group is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and is an affiliated company of Royal Group, one of the leading conglomerates in the Gulf Region. 

The Group will be opening the Four Star Canvas Hotel Shymkent in Kazakhstan at the end of this year.  The 120 room hotel will be the first internationally-managed hotel in southern Kazakhstan and will feature three restaurants and bars, meeting facilities and leisure facilities.
