Star Alliance, which was co-founded by Scandinavian Airlines, was voted Best Airline Alliance at the Business Traveller Awards held in London last week for the sixth consecutive time.
Christopher Korenke, Vice President Commercial, Star Alliance, said: "Receiving an award in one of the world's most competitive aviation markets, the United Kingdom, for six consecutive years, is a real achievement. This is further underscored by the fact that the voters are bona-fide travellers who actually make use of our products and is testimony to the fact that we deliver the alliance customer promise consistently across our global network."
The awards are recognised throughout the industry as the premier achievement for business travel and give readers of Business Traveller the chance to honour those airlines, airports, hotels and car hire companies which they think are making a real difference in their life on the road.
The annual reader survey is completely independent with no preselection, all of the data from the survey is analysed and audited by an independent market research company who provide the list of winners.
