Popular travel ratings website TripAdvisor.com is now featuring Guam in a spotlight destination banner. The featured spotlight rotates across all participating organizations and is refreshed with each page load. The homepage banner features a photo, 50-word description of Guam, and a link to the GVB official homepage, visitguam.org.
The destination spotlight banner appears on three TripAdvisor-branded language sites - English, Japanese, and Chinese.
In return for the placement, GVB visitguam.org pages now feature the TripAdvisor logo and a link to the Guam TripAdvisor page, which features top-rated hotels, B&Bs, sights, and restaurants.
TripAdvisor-branded sites alone make up the largest travel community in the world, with more than 50 million unique monthly visitors, 20 million members, and over 50 million reviews and opinions. The sites operate in 30 countries worldwide, including China under daodao.com.
“GVB is happy to partner with TripAdvisor.com, the same site that featured Guam’s Ypao Beach as the second-best overseas beach according to Japanese travelers,” said GVB General Manager Joann Camacho.
The TripAdvisor English homepage features Guam as a Spotlight Destination. Guam is also featured on TripAdvisor’s Chinese and Japanese homepages.
