GuestLogix Inc. announced the launch of its onboard retail technology platform to support new onboard duty free programs for Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways in conjunction with Inflight Sales Group, Asia-Pacific's largest third-party onboard duty free service provider. The two sister airlines provide services between Hong Kong and over 30 cities in Asia and Europe.
"The launch of our retail technology platform onboard Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways demonstrates our continued success in penetrating the Asia-Pacific market and the adoption of our solution by airlines in that region," said Tom Douramakos, President and CEO of GuestLogix. "We are thrilled that this signed customer has gone live, which translates into revenue growth for the Company," he added.
"Our partnership with GuestLogix will allow us to better serve our airline clients in Asia so that they can enhance their existing onboard retail operations and drive new ancillary revenues," said Tony Detter, ISG Managing Director. "We look forward to a successful partnership and future deployments onboard ISG's other client airline carriers."
GuestLogix onboard retail technology provides ISG with point-of-sale (POS) handheld devices to accept cash, card payments and also software to manage promotions, sales, cash, payment processing, and inventory.
