Estonian Air Premium class passengers enjoy restaurant Stenhus’ specially prepared menu
Gourmet restaurant Stenhus on board of Estonian Air flights in November
Thursday, November 03, 2011
During the whole November, Estonian Air Premium class passengers can enjoy the restaurant Stenhus’ specially prepared menu in which Chef de Cuisine Vladimir Iljin has artfully combined traditional recipes with fine and surprising flavors.

Stenhus’, as one of the best gourmet restaurant considered in Tallinn, onboard menu consists of 12 different meals. The menu varies depending on the length of the flight. For instance, the Premium class passengers can enjoy salmon roll with pickled pumpkin on vegetable gratin and for dessert a strawberry and basil parfait on nut pate sablee or palatine chicken with cheese and ginger on onion-carrot puree and for a dessert a refreshing orange-mint souffle with tapioca.

On Wednesday, 23 November 2011, a very special restaurant flight on the Tallinn-Brussels-Tallinn route will take place. All the meals will be made in restaurant Stenhus and Chef de Cuisine Vladimir Iljin will be personally serving and talking about the food and its concept.

“We can say that the sky restaurant project has received very positive feedback from our passengers. On one hand, our clients can enjoy the meals made by the finest restaurants in Estonia, while on the other, it is an exciting challenge for the restaurants themselves as well,” said Gunnar Magi, the Marketing and Development Director of Estonian Air.

The restaurant project, which runs for twelve months, is aiming to promote the high level of Estonian restaurants both to Estonians and to the tourists visiting Estonia. This way Estonian Air is hoping to provide passengers with new taste experiences, enrich Estonian Air’s onboard meals and introduce local chefs’ different approaches in food making in terms of tastes and usage of local raw materials.

Tickets for the restaurant-flight on 23 November 2011 are available on all Estonian Air sales channels.
