The Maltese airline will commence flights to Tripoli International Airport
Air Malta announces resumption of services to Libya

Air Malta is pleased to announce that it will resume air services to Libya on Monday, 28th
November. The Maltese Airline will commence flights to Tripoli International Airport and operate
a three –times weekly service every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

This decision was taken following recommendations by Air Malta’s Technical Team that audited
airports in Libya over the last three weeks. The team comprised experts in the field of flight
operations, safety and security, engineering, ground and airport operations, regulatory affairs and
commercial.

The airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Peter Davies, said, “Air Malta has been looking forward to
the resumption of services to Libya. The Tripoli service is positive news to the Maltese and Libyan
business communities as it will strengthen the links and facilitate the movement of both passengers
and cargo between the two countries. We intend to increase the number of services to Libya as
demand picks up.”


Tickets will be available for sale as from Tuesday, 22nd November 2011.
