Tiger Airways Australia turns four today (Wednesday 23 November) and is marking its birthday with two days of low fare celebrations for everyone to join the party. The airline also celebrates carrying its eight millionth Australian passenger this week and the lucky traveler will be met by Tiger Airways Australia’s new CEO Andrew David at Melbourne Airport Tullamarine on Thursday (24 November 2011).

To celebrate birthday number four, Tiger’s two day sales bonanza begins very early tomorrow morning (Wednesday 23 November) – exclusive to Stripes members for the first 24 hours. The general Australian public will be able to access the same birthday fares from very early on Thursday 24 November, available also for 24 hours.

“As our solid run of operational excellence continues, we anticipate many more Australians will be warming to the idea of getting from A to B for our famous low fares,” said Vanessa Regan, Tiger Airways Australia Head of Marketing and Communications.

The identity of passenger number 8,000,000 will be revealed on Thursday when they will be met by Tiger Airways Australia CEO Andrew David at Melbourne Airport Tullamarine’s T4 terminal and presented with an $800 Tiger Airways travel voucher.
