United Airlines announces daily service from Washington to Doha, Qatar
Tuesday, December 13, 2011
United Continental Holdings, Inc. announced that United Airlines will launch daily service between its Washington/Dulles hub and Doha, Qatar, via Dubai, effective May 1, 2012, subject to government approval.

Doha will be the fourth city in the Gulf region that United serves from Washington/Dulles, in addition to Dubai, Kuwait City and Bahrain. The airline serves more destinations in the Gulf region and Middle East than any other U.S. carrier.

"This new service will improve travel options for our customers at both ends of the route," said Andrew Buchanan, United's director of international planning. "The Doha flights are timed to provide convenient connections to and from destinations across North America."
