Estonian Air flights are served with two new CRJ NextGen aircraft
Estonian Air gets the third new generation aircraft
Monday, December 19, 2011
Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace delivered the third CRJ900 NextGen regional jet to Estonian Air. The jet will arrive to Estonia on early morning of 16 January and makes its first regular flight on 18 January on Tallinn-Copenhagen route.

In parallel to Boeing 737 and Saab 340, Estonian Air flights are served with two new CRJ NextGen aircraft that were delivered to Estonia in the beginning of the year. Altogether Estonian Air ordered three new CRJ900 NextGen aircraft from the Canadian aircraft manufacturer.

Estonian Air is having negotiations to add more new generation aircraft to its fleet aiming to serve the summer 2012 schedule with seven next generation regional jets.

Moving from B737-fleet to regional jets, allows Estonian Air to increase flight frequencies, to add new destinations and to operate at least double daily services to main destinations in Europe.

AS Estonian Air, Estonia’s national carrier, provides both business travellers and tourists direct air link from Estonia to European cities. Estonian Air is the biggest operator at Tallinn Airport.

Estonian Air focuses on improving the connection between Estonia and the rest of the world with the aim of increasing competitiveness as a network carrier hub. In 2012 Estonian Air will increase flight frequencies and open new destinations in European’s most important cities as well as regional centres in Scandinavia.

Estonian Air flies to 25 destinations in CIS, Scandinavia and Europe. The airline has recently announced new destinations for next summer, such as Helsinki, Riga, Jyvaskyla, Hannover, Vienna, Venice, Kokkola/Pietarsaari, Joensuu, Kajaani and Tbilisi.
