People are eager to plan their vacations is due to the improving economy
TripShock.com projects strong 2012 tourist season along the Gulf Coast
Monday, January 02, 2012
TripShock.com projects that the 2012 tourist season will be another strong year for the activity booking engine due to early reservations and traffic statistics. The website has received several calls and reservation inquiries this past week for travel dates as late as October of 2012. Market manager, Greg Fisher, says that the reason people are so eager to plan their vacations is due to the improving economy and all of the recent marketing and advertising provided by BP.

“Although the economy is still recovering, the unemployment rate is slowly declining and more people have disposable income to spend on vacations. In addition, the increased advertising from BP to help advertise the Gulf Coast is working. We are getting a lot of calls and inquiries from locations we aren’t used to hearing from” Fisher says.

TripShock.com has recently announced that they are expanding in four destinations along the Gulf Coast in 2012 and have confidence that the region will be productive in the next five years. Activity and hotel providers from Panama City Beach to New Orleans can sell their rooms and tickets with TripShock.com simply by contacting a marketing manager.
