Tiger Airways Australia has announced that more than 380,000 additional seats are now on sale for the new season travel period extending from 26 March – 27 October 2012.
 
The airline has added the extra flights on existing Australian domestic routes to cater for demand and seasonality. This will deliver an extra 240,000 seats between Sydney and Melbourne, over 46,000 additional seats between Melbourne and Gold Coast, more than 28,000 seats between Melbourne and Brisbane and over 69,000 additional low fare seats between Melbourne – Perth.

“Since resuming domestic services on 12 August 2011 customers have embraced Tiger’s affordable airfares coupled with industry leading reliability. We’re now ramping up our new season schedule (which runs from end of March to end of October) to cater for demand on our existing popular four routes,” said Vanessa Regan, Tiger Airways Head of Marketing and Communications.

Given the lowest fares are typically snapped up quickest, Tiger Airways Australia is encouraging its customers to jump online, plan ahead and book early to secure the best value fares.

While the additional seats are on routes the airline currently flies, new routes are expected to be announced in due course.
