Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort has been voted one of the World’s Best Resort in the Gold List 2012 of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine. The Gold List is based on data collected from the annual Reader’s Choice Survey. In order to be qualified to be part of the Gold List, a property has to receive a required minimum number of responses. In 2011, Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort received an overall score of 92.7 from the Reader’s Choice Award, with 92.7 for rooms and service and 97.6 for the design.

Situated in the cultural heart of Cambodia, Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort is five minutes away from the center of Siem Reap and the World Heritage site of Angkor Wat. A peaceful garden sanctuary, the 238 rooms offer inspiring views of the pool, tropical garden or lake. With excellent facilities, fine service and friendly Ambassadors, the hotel promises an unforgettable holiday experience for couples or families. Golfers will be in heaven when challenging the Phokeethra Country Club, our 18-hole Championship course, also home to the annual Johnnie Walker Cambodian Open Golf Tournament for four years running.

“I am proud that the hotel and the service we offer to our guests everyday are recognized as one of the best in Asia,” enthused Fabrice Ducry, General Manager of the hotel. “This is a great encouragement for starting 2012. All the Ambassadors and I are very enthusiastic to start the New Year and to continue offering a personalised service tailored to individual guests”.
