The new Katowice – Stavanger service will operate initially 2 times a week
Wizz Air adds Stavanger, Norway to its network from Katowice
Wednesday, January 11, 2012
Starting 25 April 2012, Wizz Air adds Stavanger (Norway) to its destinations accessible from Katowice airport. The new Katowice – Stavanger service will operate initially 2 times a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The airline now offers access to 20 major European cities from Katowice, the home of Wizz Air’s first scheduled flight in 2004.

By adding this new route from Katowice, Wizz Air becomes the biggest operator between Poland and Norway, flying 34 weekly frequencies connecting the two countries.

“Wizz Air is committed to growing its route network in Poland and is pleased to offer an increase in services offered from Katowice airport. Adding the Stavanger route opens a gate to one of the most important industrial hubs of Norway from the Katowice/Krakow area,” said John Stephenson, Executive Vice President of Wizz Air.
