A busy British Travel Agency requires experienced & enthusiastic Sales Agents for its call centre in Agios Dimitrios. All candidates must speak fluent English. Travel or Sales experience essential. Overview

Reporting to your Sales Manager you will use your knowledge to book customer’s holidays to Short-haul and Long-haul destinations. Mainly booking tailor made itinerates you will use your sales experience to convert sales leads gained from our call centre customers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Booking holidays to worldwide destinations Ensure full product knowledge, continually updating staff with special offers and ensuring product knowledge.
  • Using your own product knowledge and industry experience, to book short-haul, long-haul and Cruise holidays including tailor made itineraries.
  • Provide an exceptional customer service at all times
  • Convert calls generated from our call centre into bookings
  • Retain and build repeat customers
Education & Experience
  • 3 years out of the last 5 ABTA and travel sales experience
  • Excellent product knowledge
  • Experience in selling Short-haul, Long-haul and Cruise holidays
  • Experience in overcoming customer objections
Skills & Knowledge
  • Excellent product knowledge
  • Experience of working within the Travel Industry is essential
  • Ability to work on your own and within a wider team
  • Deliver the very highest levels of customer service to ensure repeat custom
  • Sales driven and used to working towards targets
Personality & Abilities
  • Thorough and meticulous with attention to detail
  • Proactive and personable team player

Essential requirements:

The candidate must have fluent/excellent standard of English, preferably a native speaker or alternatively the candidate has worked in an English speaking environment previously. Working within the travel industry or in a Sales role (preferably on the phone) is essential.
