Wednesday, January 25, 2012
For the summer season, Latvian national airline airBaltic will increase the number of flights to Moscow Domodedovo for convenient travel via North Hub Riga to/from destinations in Scandinavia, Baltics, and Europe.

Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “Russia is an important market for airBaltic. Over the last year, airBaltic achieved an increase of 31% of passengers on the routes to Russian destinations. By increasing flight frequencies to Moscow Domodedovo, airBaltic will improve its service to both local passengers, and those travelling in transit via Riga. airBaltic passengers will be offered five daily flights between Riga and Moscow.”

airBaltic will increase its Riga- Moscow Domodedovo service to 7 weekly flights, up from 2 last summer; flights will be operated in code-share with Transaero Airlines. airBaltic offers four daily flights to Moscow Sheremetyevo in code-share cooperation with Aeroflot.

A full schedule of flights is available on the company’s homepage.

airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia. From every one of these, airBaltic offers convenient connections via North Hub Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
