After researching and identifying a number of suitable acquisition targets in early 2011, Uniglobe member CT Business Travel initiated discussions with several businesses, of which Medway Travel was one of the parties, and who immediately stood out as a clear opportunity.

Over the course of approximately eight months last year, serious discussions took place that concluded with CT Business Travel officially becoming the new owners of Medway Travel Limited on 09th January 2012.

By Medway Travel gaining the Uniglobe status it will transform its offering, such as enabling access to the best industry rates globally and allowing the company to start servicing international businesses on a competitive footing.

With CT Business Travel enjoying good organic growth during the last couple of years, and the recent purchase of Medway Travel, these developments firmly place CT Business Travel as one of the largest independent corporate travel agencies in the South East (outside of London) of England.
