Croatian envoy in talks on tourism and trade cooperation with Egypt

Minister of Tourism Mamdouh El-Beltagui met yesterday with the Croatian Ambassador to Egypt to discuss ways of increasing tourism between the two countries.

Greater cooperation with Croatia was important in order to narrow the trade gap, which at present favors Croatia, El- Beltagui said, adding that his ministry would cooperate with the Croatian government to promote Egyptian destinations.

The Croatian Ambassador said that Egypt is a very important tourist destination for Croatians, adding that a meeting would soon be held between travel agencies from the two countries to discuss ways of encouraging tourism.
