travel management solutions, announce that German corporate travelers are now able to display DB train schedule and availabilities and to book them directly from KDS Corporate application , the European leading online business travel booking and management solution.

KDS is online business travel & expense solution provider to take advantage of NVS (Neues Vertriebs System - New Sales
System), DB`s new XML interface to the German Railway`s reservation system. With the integration of Deutsche Bahn`s new distribution system (NVS) it is now possible to book all travel services provided by Deutsche Bahn directly on KDS Corporate.

Until now DB booking was available on KDS Corporate via a link to DB`s BIBE web reservation system but from now on, reservations will be entirely conducted transparently to the corporate traveler on the KDS solution.

In Germany corporate travelers wish to better visualize their travel alternatives, said Markus Grafe, Director Sales Technology and System Partners, Deutsche Bahn. That`s now possible with KDS Corporate availability screen where DB trains are listed next to traditional and low cost airlines. Corporate Travelers are thus able to select the most convenient and cost effective travel option.

Among the numerous advantages of Deutsche Bahn`s NVS with KDS Corporate is the full ability for corporations to use the new KDS MIS reporting features to monitor their entire travel spend - air, train, hotel and car. With the latest version of KDS Corporate, the new KDS reporting can also cover both online and offline travel bookings thanks to the new available KDS PNR Sync component.

KDS has also announced the availability of Hotel Reservation Service`s (HRS) hotel database, a leading German and European based hotel reservation service, directly on KDS Corporate, see separate announcement.
