Wednesday, March 31, 2004
Egypt and the World Bank (WB) are to sign on Wednesday an agreement on giving Egypt a $ 335 million loan to establish the third terminal in the Cairo International Airport and the new building of Sharm El-Sheikh Airport to absorb the increasing tourism flow in the coming period.

Chairman of the Holding Company for Airports Ibrahim Manaa will head for Washington, leading an Egyptian delegation to sign the agreement.

The construction of the third terminal will begin in September to absorb 11 million passengers per year, Manaa said, adding that the new terminal in Sharm El-Sheikh airport is under construction to absorb 2,500 passengers/hour.
