EOT continues industry checks

The Hellenic Tourism Organisation, EOT<.>, is continuing to carry out inspections on tourism enterprises throughout Greece in an effort to ensure quality of products and services offered.
EOT general secretary Evgenios Yiannakopoulos said that EOT officers recently inspected 166 accommodation units, travel agencies, hire car agencies and traditional handicrafts stores. In addition, they visited transit points including six ports, 11 airport lounges as well as six archaeological sites.
Improvements were ordered within a specified timeframe or legal action was taken in 85 instances.
