JW Marriott Dubai supports Emiratisation, hotel hosts UAE career development programme
Monday, August 02, 2004
As part of its Emiratisation drive the JW Marriott Dubai sponsored a seminar for the Career Development Summer Program, a summer camp for UAE nationals interested in working in the Hospitality Industry.

The summer camp, run by the DTCM and the Emirates Academy, is supported by the hotel industry through work experience, guest speakers and seminars.

Over 50 male UAE nationals attended the seminar. Two of the students will be joining the JW Marriott Dubai for a two-week work experience placement later in August.

“This initiative not only supports Marriott’s Spirit to Serve philosophy of giving back to the community but also provides the hotel with the valuable opportunity of working with some fantastic young students, many of whom will become instrumental in the shaping of Dubai’s hospitality industry in years to come,” said Director of Operations at the JW Marriott Dubai, Mr. Gerrit Graef.
