Convention organisers in Thessaloniki

A delegation from the Italian Convention Organisers Association recently visited Thessaloniki<.> where they were informed on the northern Greek city`s conference-hosting abilities.
The trip, organised by the Thessaloniki Convention and Visitors Bureau (TCVB<.>) and the Hellenic Tourism Organisation`s Milan office, involved presentations on Greek history and culture, the market, local cuisine and the city`s famed nightlife.
The association`s chairman, Carmelo Pezzino, said he was highly impressed with Thessaloniki and that numerous Italian conferences would be held there in the near future.
Over the next few weeks, TCVB will host delegations from the UK, Germany and Switzerland as well as industry journalists.
